Big Dog Kanga for Small Dogs is a low-allergen, single-protein raw dog food made specifically for small dogs and smaller eaters. Made with Australian kangaroo, this recipe is naturally lean, low in fat and easy to digest, making it a suitable option for dogs that may benefit from an alternative protein source.

The recipe is finely minced for small dogs and comes in convenient half-size patties, making portioning easier for smaller eaters. Each 1.5kg resealable bag contains 12 individual portions.

Kanga combines kangaroo meat, crushed bone, cartilage and organ meats with a balanced blend of fruits and vegetables, including apple, green banana, carrots, lettuce, green beans, sprouted wheatgrass, orange, strawberries and blueberries. It also contains psyllium, kelp and organic fulvic acid.

Feeding Guide

Feeding amounts are a guide only. Optimal feeding amounts may vary depending on your dog's age, size, breed, activity level and climate.

Big Dog recommends gradually transitioning your dog to a new raw diet over approximately two weeks to help minimise the risk of digestive upset.

Storage and Handling

Keep frozen until ready to thaw. Thaw portions in the refrigerator before feeding and avoid refreezing.

To thaw more quickly, place the portion in a container and sit it in lukewarm water for 15-30 minutes. Do not allow the food to cook.

Once thawed, keep portions in a sealed, airtight container in the refrigerator and use within 2-3 days. Discard any thawed product that no longer looks or smells fresh.

Do not cook this product as it contains crushed raw bone.

Wash hands, utensils and preparation surfaces thoroughly with warm soapy water after handling raw food.
